Without having a specific property in mind to request a rate for, is there any place I can see average or median homeowners insurance rates?
I’m looking at homes in good condition for under $375,000 purchase price.

I currently work for an insurance agency and I sell homeowners insurance. I am considering getting a cell phone to answer calls after 5:00pm and on weekends. I am not sure how lucrative this would be. Do people primarily look for insurance during the week or do they seek convenience on nights and weekends?

The broker that previously insured the home is having trouble getting an insurance company to pick up the home because it will not be occupied by anyone and will be on the market in a few weeks. So far Farmers insurance is the cheapest and geico is the most exspensive but gives great coverage. They said they will send out an adjuster to survey damage. What do I tell this adjuster? Do I need to make a list of stuff damaged? Will he help me get the most money i need?
