    Best to shop around as it is your post code that denotes the cost. If and when you do take it out make sure you read the policy as insurance companies don’t like paying out on claims and will try anything to avoid doing so.

    Totally depends on the size of your house, where you live, and how many extras you want. I don’t know if you are in the US and the UK but go to one of the search websites (such as moneysupermarket if the UK) and get some quotes based on your rough details – it’s free, easy, and will only take 5-10 mins. We have a 3 bed house in the UK and we only pay £8 a month for buildings and contents insurance. Shope around, you can always get good deals like that.
