Can a homeowner’s insurance cover an auto stolen because keys were taken from break in to home?

JY asked:

My friends home got broken into and car keys were stolen and with that stole the vehicle. The vehicle only had liability insurance. Now both homeowners and auto insurance are telling them that they won’t pay for that loss. Is this correct in any way? The vehicle has a value of $7K. Would obtaining an attorney be helpful?

home insurance
Chris asked:

I am making a claim on my home insurance for water damage on my patio. It finally collapsed, and there’s a large hole. I have already called in for the claim. First, would it be accepted? Second, if it is accepted, is it a good idea to accept the claim, but I don’t want to my insurance to go up?

Is there a way to find out a persons homeowners insurance?

homeowners insurance
littlebittykittycat0226 asked:

My daughter broke her arm at daycare. It turns out the lady doesn’t have liability insurance. She refuses responsibility and won’t give me info. Is there a way to find out her homeowners insurance carrier? (This is in KS)
More details, my daughter fell off a swing at the daycares house. First of all ,she is 5 and was left unsupervised. Second, she was swinging on a swing that was too high for her, the seat was about level with her chest. And last but not least, the daycare provider did not have the appropriate insurance, which I have found out is required by this state in order to be a licensed caregiver, so she is in trouble with the state for not having that insurance. I’m guessing an attorney is my only option.

Can my homeowners insurance co pay a claim and then try to recoup their money via another lawsuit?

homeowners insurance
elizabeth asked:

When my son was living with us he was involved in an altercation with a neighbor. That neighbor is now suing us via our homeowners policy for injuries he sustained as my son was defending himself. No arrests were made, but the police were called. If the insurance company decides to pay the claim, now that my son has his own home, will my insurance company try to recoup their money by suing my son?
