is it worth it to get a home insurance for a condo?

the whole condo building already has an insurance which i pay thru my monthly maintenance bill. but this insurance is to cover anything inside my apartment. so for all those out there that own a condo, do you pay extra each month just to get a insurance? is it really worth it or money down the toilet.

Home insurance – difference between medical payment and Liability?

M – Medical payments $1,000 each person, $25,000 each accident
What is the difference between personal liablity and medical payments? If someone slipped and injured in my yard, does that consider medical payment or liabilty?

Talked to my agent. Raising the deductible does help. Went with a lower fire insurance policy (to keep the mortaage company happy) that is even was cheaper! Went with that for now!
